Field and Hunt Test News, Activities and Brags

HESC supports events that will get our dogs and their owners out in the field, and are proud to host an AKC sanctioned Hunt Test at the David A. Sarnoff Preserve in Suffolk County, Long Island.
We welcome everyone and encourage you to participate in the events, help with the activities, and join the gallery as a spectator!  For more info about hunt test guidelines, visit this link at the AKC Pointing Breed Hunt Test Rules page.

Hudson English Setter Club

English Setters are sporting dogs, originally bred to find game birds - pheasant, quail and partridge - and to point or "set" the bird until their master arrived.
HUDSON wishes to Congratulate Frank Luksa (and the whole Luksa family) & "Dutchess," EDITIONS NAVIGATOR, on achieving her SENIOR HUNTER TITLE!! What a major achievement this is - and may well be a first for a Hudson Member to attain!
